By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. About Us

CamX Cab is a premium taxi and airport transfer service based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. We provide pre-booked taxi, airport transfer, long-distance, and private hire services across the UK.

2. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings must be made in advance through our website, phone, or authorised booking channels.

A booking is considered confirmed only after payment is completed or confirmation is issued by CamX Cab.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup, drop-off, date, time, and contact details.

Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays or additional charges.

3. Pricing & Payments

Fares are calculated based on distance, journey type, vehicle category, and any additional services requested.

Prices displayed at the time of booking are estimates unless otherwise stated.

There are no hidden fees; however, additional charges may apply in cases such as route changes, waiting time, or extra stops.

Payment must be completed before or at the start of the journey unless otherwise agreed.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time to qualify for a refund.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup may be charged in full.

No refunds will be issued for no-shows or late cancellations.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.

5. Waiting Time

For airport pickups, a reasonable waiting time is included (subject to flight arrival information provided).

Additional waiting time may incur extra charges.

Customers are advised to notify us immediately in case of flight delays.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers must behave responsibly and respectfully during the journey.

Smoking, alcohol misuse, illegal substances, or unsafe behaviour are strictly prohibited in our vehicles.

Seat belts must be worn at all times where legally required.

7. Vehicle Cleanliness & Damage

Any vomiting, spillage, or damage caused to the vehicle may result in a cleaning or repair charge.

Cleaning fees range from £60 to £120, depending on severity.

Drivers reserve the right to terminate the journey if the vehicle is being misused.

8. Luggage Policy

Passengers are responsible for ensuring their luggage fits within the selected vehicle category.

CamX Cab is not responsible for damage to luggage unless caused by driver negligence.

9. Lost Property

CamX Cab is not responsible for items left in vehicles.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist in locating lost items, but recovery cannot be guaranteed.

10. Delays & Force Majeure

CamX Cab is not liable for delays caused by traffic conditions, weather, road closures, accidents, or other circumstances beyond our control.

We will always make reasonable efforts to ensure punctual service.

11. Refusal of Service

CamX Cab reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if:

Passenger behaviour is abusive or unsafe

Payment is not completed

The booking violates these Terms & Conditions

12. Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the booked journey.

CamX Cab is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights due to circumstances beyond our control.

13. Data Protection

All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations.

14. Changes to Terms

CamX Cab may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
